Minneapolis producer alter statics has released Windowpane, a new album out on Bandcamp as of October 27, 2026 (Bandcamp).
The album runs six parts, "Windowpane 01" through "Windowpane 06," for about 78 minutes in total, with the longest, "Windowpane 05," passing 21 minutes. The release notes say it was "inspired by electricity and midwest us / detroit... / and beautiful human beings." Per the credits, alter statics handled all synths, samples, mixing and mastering, with drums on "Windowpane 06" by sam/orchard thief.
It follows the single "[AS011] Novus" in August and the album [AS010] Atomicity in May.
