Two Minneapolis artists from the Syntropolis directory put out new music in September, each in a very different corner of the electronic map.
omiah released a new 12-track album on September 25. It's titled simply "-," and the only note on the page is "written 2026." Most tracks are short sketches of about two minutes, with titles like things are different now, everything is blending and reincarnate. The album closes with the nearly four-minute hold on. Bandcamp tags it house, IDM, ambient and downtempo.
Synthwave producer Night Audit (Sean Morrissey) released "Prism" on September 11, with an official video on his YouTube channel. Morrissey wrote and recorded it and mixed it with Adam Tucker, who mastered it at Signaturetone Studios.
