Minneapolis producer omiah is back with "=", a new 15-track album released on Bandcamp on October 16, 2026. It lands just three weeks after "-", the album Syntropolis covered in September (New Minnesota Sounds: omiah and Night Audit).
The new record runs about 42 minutes, and most of its pieces come in between two and three minutes. It opens with "just have to try" and closes with its longest track, the nearly five-minute "let go." Along the way are "white pines," "an empty room," "it's okay to start again" and "you made it." omiah's only note on the release is short: "written 2018-2026." Where "-" had 12 tracks, "=" stretches to 15.
"=" is the third omiah album of 2026 so far, after "+" in August and "-" in September (per Apple Music), and like those two it's out digitally.
Listen to "=" on Bandcamp, and it's also on Apple Music.
